Jesse Holden can’t keep himself away from creative projects, from drawing to writing to painting to indie game art assets. A lover of texture and grit, his style often foregoes pristine formalism in favor of a paint-spatter-up-to-his-elbows embrace of material and physicality. He ruined his wrists for a week drawing his first 24-hour comic, and now appreciates the value of developing stories and letting other, more talented people do the actual illustration. His dog is named Fergus.
Successfully debuted at VanCAF 2017, Incredible Doom is a series of interwoven stories about a group of teens who make a series of life-threatening decisions during the early days of the internet. In collaboration with Matthew Bogart, it’s Jesse’s first foray into serialized comic work.
