Nina Matsumoto (a.k.a. “space coyote” online) is a Japanese-Canadian Eisner Award-winning comic book artist who’s lived in Vancouver all her life. She pencils for Simpson Comics and has contributed to indie anthologies such as “Elements: Fire”, “Bones of the Coast”, “New World”, and “Cautionary Fables”. When not drawing comics, she designs officially licensed video game apparel for Fangamer. Most recently, she illustrated the children’s storybook “I’m Stuck in a Video Game” written by Game Center CX’s Tsuyoshi Kan, and “Sparks!”, a Scholastic children’s comic written by frequent collaborator Ian Boothby.
